Hi, I’m Jess (she/her) — a queer photographer in Belfast specialising in relaxed, honest portrait and documentary-style photography for real people.
My photography is all about capturing people as they are — unposed, unfiltered, and fully themselves. Whether you're an artist, small business owner, musician, or someone who simply hates having their photo taken, my goal is to help you feel seen (without making it weird).
Why I Became a Photographer
My wife taught me how to take a photograph, and I’ve been chasing honest moments ever since. I’m drawn to people who are a little different — the shy ones, the expressive ones, the ones who think they’re “awkward” on camera but give it a go anyway.
A good photo isn’t about looking perfect. It’s about that split second when your guard drops and something real breaks through. That’s what I live for — a glimpse of who you really are, even if it’s just for a second.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
My style is calm, natural, and easygoing. I don’t bark instructions or obsess over angles — I’ll guide you gently but never force anything.
If you’re the kind of person who overthinks every pose or wants to check the back of the camera every five minutes, I might not be the right fit. But if you’re up for a relaxed, pressure-free session where you can just be, we’ll get on great.

A Few Things About Me
– I’ve photographed Tim Rozon (Mutt from Schitt’s Creek) and Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones royalty)
– I have a mini Australian shepherd called Wyn and I’m completely obsessed with her
– When I’m not photographing legends, I’m either gaming or walking Wyn to the pub for a pint with my wife
